Business Development Manager – US Market

One of the more strategic pillars of Roojoom’s growth is leveraging channels for sales. Roojoom partnered and aims to enhance partnerships with global/local brands in areas of SMB software and communication services to facilitate growth.

This position specifically focuses on PickMyCall (PMC) — a Roojoom product designed to transform the way SMBs handle customer communications. To learn more about the product, visit pickmycall.ai.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for establishing new channel partnerships and managing existing ones in North America, with a strong focus on expanding PMC’s reach through telecom providers, software platforms, and service resellers.

What you’ll be doing

  • Strategic planning. Develop and implement strategic partnership plans to increase revenue, expand market presence, and achieve business goals.
  • Opportunity identification. Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, and trends.
  • Deal execution. Lead end-to-end deal processes with strategic partners — from initiation and negotiation to final signature.
  • Revenue generation. Take ownership of revenue outcomes from partnerships, with clear KPIs and performance tracking.
  • Partner relationship management. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing partners, ensuring their business needs are met and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Partnership development. Identify and cultivate partnerships with existing partners to deepen and expand our business.
  • Reporting and analysis. Regularly review and report on business development activities, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Reporting to: CEO

Location: United States or Israel (working U.S. hours if based in Israel)

You'd be a good fit if you have...

  • At least 6 years of experience in a similar position in business development, sales, or a related field in a high-tech company
  • Proven track record of building channel sales from the ground up, closing deals with strategic partners, generating revenue from partnership.
  • Experience in startup environments. 
  • A strong personal network in relevant industries
  • A self-starter attitude — goal-driven, adaptable, and comfortable with the pace of startup life. 
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics, business strategy, and partner relationship management.
  • Proficiency in SMB or consumer software, market analysis tools, and business development platforms.
  • Ability to create and execute business strategies that align with company goals.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on building long-term partnerships.
  • Strong business and quota-driven mindset
  • A degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel
  • Availability to work U.S. business hours (if based in Israel)
